Build this in Christmas 2013 and was awesome it had the A4-4000 Dual core but i upgraded to the X4 750K and a Noctua cooler on July-4-2014 and it was even better!
Nice budgeting! It's hard to do a cheap miniITX build, but you did a marvelous job! I love it, +1.
Beautiful build! +1
Haven't seen an Athlon X4 build in ages.
P.S: Any particular reason for getting one module of 8gb RAM? If you went dual channel you would get faster RAM speeds.
1 stick because at the time of building it i had planned on upgrading to 16gb of ram..
any sign of micro stutter?
None really I'm only playing at 1600:900 and frames don't drop in bf3,Gta4,or BeamNG drive if this answers your question.
30min, 45avg, 50max fps with postFX off at medium i was running close to 20 to 30 with postFX on
I love little builds like this. I do not like windows 8. Ech.
Nice build, mate! +1
why did you put the hard drive cage without any hard drives back in ?
I have no where else to store it, and personally it looks better with that tiny graphics card
Fellow prodigy buddy! :D
Loved your build too, man!
Good little build. That's really an impressive amount of computer for $500 including windows +1 definitely
just be careful as the NH-l9a is rated for 65 watts and the X4 750k is 100 watts...
I want to build a PC but I have never done it before and I am learning a lot by combing through the website and I apologize if this sounds stupid but what is the concern with the that? I have no idea haha like I said I'm new to all this.
the x4 750 is rated at 100 watts TDP, the noctua cooler is only rated to cool up to 65 watts cpu. It may work but under load and if there isn't good ventilation the cpu will overheat, so the best thing is to look for an adequate cooler.
Always happy to see a Prodigy build! +1 from me. Would you be so kind as to take a look at mine and let me know what you think? Thank you!
That's some beautiful cable management...
Great build for that price!
how do i +1? lol
The upgrades are coming around christmas time heres the upgrades list
