Basically the first computer i built. But right now it's the upgraded one.

This build rocks an i7 4770 with z87 mobo, 16gb ddr3, 250gb samsung 850 evo ssd, 2tb wd green, gtx 760 water cooled, h440 razer edtion, RM1000x

razer: mouse, mouse pad, keyboard, headset

Monitor: LG 29 inch 29um68-P

DXracer chair was bought at aud $279

Table(bloody hell didn't know it would cost me AUD $230)

Engineering Student, plays mainly dota 2 at 120+ FPS, csgo and some few games

Got some screen shots of Benchmark with gtx 760 OC since using corsair h90 liquid cooling 3DMark Vantage(PERFORMANCE AND EXTREME), 3DMark 11(PERFORMANCE AND EXTREME), 3DMark(FIRE STRIKE 1.1, SKY DIVER 1.0, ICE STORM 1.2, CLOUD GATE 1.1)

Part Reviews

Got it for free, has 4 cores with hyper threading

CPU Cooler

great GPU cooler, haven't gone pass 59 degree.

CPU Cooler

the temps of i7 4770 went down to 32 degrees idle and 61 degree in benchmark

Has everything that I need

1600mhz - overclocked at 2400

When Rapid is enabled this thing has a blazing fast Read/write

more than 2 years old and still going

Video Card

still performs and does what I need!

Be careful when handling this case, it can get scratched so easily. This is my 2nd h440 razer case since the first one was rma'ed due to the LED on PSU shroud not working. That's why I knew i had to be careful touching it. Disconnected the LED connections at the bottom it's quite bright at night when the lights are off, it depends on your personal preference

Power Supply

5/5 fully modular, easily one of the best PSU

Got this for AUD $40 from my brother and i got used to it! Chiclet Gaming :) He was selling me his Razer BlackWidow Chroma RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard for AUD $100 but i really don't like it, i know thats a great offer but mehh.

more than 2 years old and still performing like a champ. would buy again out of 10

Razer Fanboy? why not buy it! For long time gaming like a 6 hours sesh, it's annoying

Plenty of power here. I didn't think about wall mounting stuff until now.

Holy PSU?!?! 1000W You've got some room for expansion there XD + 1 nice build. Maybe you could get some Pcie and a 24 pin cable braided green

marseryy submitter 1 Build 1 point 36 months ago

My brother told me to never cheap out on a PSU since it will be the last component remain when your CPU/gpu or even case gets old(show some age). My brother got the overkill platinum AX1200i while I opted to RM1000x which was AUD $180 cheaper than his. Definitely, I have my eyes on Green and Black CableMod

JoeyHall 3 Builds 1 point 36 months ago

Its true to not cheap out on quality and efficiency of a PSU. If you are UK based check out Kustompcs.co.uk They have nice bitfenix cables pretty cheaply

I'm from Australia(sydney) and I've been buying from MWAVE and JW. I am yet to try on using PCCaseGear and Scorptec since they are located outside sydney have longer delivery time. PCcasegear is the only one with CableMod for RMx/RMi series

JoeyHall 3 Builds 1 point 36 months ago

Ahh I see, well you will have to go with that, Ive heard prices are quite high in australia

marseryy submitter 1 Build 1 point 36 months ago

hell yea it is, but i think not quite ridiculous than canada
