Description

Everything I need to be a Star Citizen and enter into VR...

I should have spent more on the motherboard - had to add a USB3.0 card to support everything that will be plugged in. Sleeved cables would have been fantastic too, but I went a little bit way over budget.

I had been waiting for this build a long long time, and it was supposed to be in a Corsair C70 case with a custom loop, but the 540 was on sale for $100 and I thought it would look cool, and the hardware for the loop proved to be more than my wallet could bear.

I love it. The kids love it. The wife will learn to love it.

I love it too! Those extra touches are really neat and help this build stand out. Great job.

I love all of the blue! My "color OCD" is pleased with the color consistency.

How did you cover the drive bays at the bottom?

I took a piece of cardboard and hot glued some felt onto it. I'm interested to see what it will look like in 3 months with the dust situation...

These usually have vents for air to escape out of. I don't know it it's a good idea to cover them up. Also, cardboard? It would probably keep heat inside your case. Probably doesn't make a huge difference, but it's a bit counterproductive.

I am not overly concerned - I don't have drives under there so it's just covering up the ugly empty drive sleds. The 540 has crazy airflow!

Lol yeah it should get dusty quickly but atleast it looks nice

Beautiful build. I'm curious as to what that Squadron decal is? Is it custom made? Where did you get it?

[10 months later]

That's a Squadron 42 patch I bought from Roberts Space Industries (Star Citizen) They don't sell them often but when the game is released I'm sure more will become available ;)

I just put it to 4.6GHz and it worked and I felt content... Maybe I will try to go higher later on, when it doesn't feel all new and shiny.

I do my best to show her I love her more, but I spend a loooot of time with the PC at night so..... =P
