Description

First off I would like to say, this case is amazing for the price. It's perfect for an air cooled setup and the build quality is brilliant. My brother has an NZXT Phantom and the quality is horrible. NZXT have really stepped up there game here. As you can see from the photos I've moved the stock fan forward so it pulls air into the case and right in front of the cpu cooler so the cooler get's the coldest possible air.

I've picked up a nice and cheap 9800GT 1GB Graphics card which is serving me quite well, however I'll be putting it to the test tonight with BF3... Let's see how it goes.

The cooler is fantastic in my opinion, this cpu is overclocked to 3.57 stable. I've had 3.7 but it needs a little work to get it stable. Bare in mind I'm using a really old motherboard, so that's not doing me any favours.

One Note, why did you get a high end mouse and keyboard, but a crappy monitor.

I'm pretty sure the monitor is recycled...

It was recycled with tin cans and Christmas lights.

I've recently moved to the UK and I obviously took my keyboard and mouse ;) I also just got a new screen because that one had a hole in the LCD so I took it back and they replaced it with nice widescreen because they didn't have any more of these (surprise surprise).

that fan needs to be moved air shold be pulled in from the bottom and expelled out the top as the air will be cooler at the bottom

I thought about that, but it's a piss weak fan. Closer to the cpu cooler seems like the logical approach in this situation.

Hey, I've got a very similar setup (same CPU and Mobo) and I'm worried about your load temp. Even while tinkering @4GHz the highest I saw it go was ~70C (with a much older cooler). Either you need to reseat the CPU cooler OR that top fan is stealing cool air. Try moving that top fan to the side panel or the bottom intake and I think you'll see improvement. If it works but is too loud put a dust filter between the fan and case.

Also, if/when you have the funds you can upgrade your GPU to at least a GTX760. I'm rocking a 660ti and it does BF4 at 50-60 fps on High setting.
