Description

I built this in December 2013. I have no complaints at all. I use AutoCAD for work if I need to finish something while at home and I game just about everyday on this. I also do a lot of photo editing as I'm an amateur photographer, mostly shooting film and scanning my negatives and doing simple digital touch ups.

I bought everything at micro center on Dec. 14th, 2013. I was impatient and didnt want to deal with shipping during the holidays. I'd love to hear everyone's opinions and suggestions for my next build, my brothers AMD FX8320 in April.

Note: I had my monitor prior and my cousin gave me as a gift the amazing keyboard + mouse. The extra case fan as mounted exhaust in top rear slot.

Like NuclearPancakes, it was the cables that came with the psu. They seemed very stiff to me, maybe that's normal, but they definitely felt tight trying to route them cleanly. Some of that may have been my noobness though.

I'm thinking of doing individually sleeved cables when i upgrade this system after it's not so "new".

I have not logged any games to find an average, most everything I play has been on ultra or a mix of ultra and high. Just as a reference, BF4 ultra everything w/ 4xMSAA. F1 2013 is ultra but crowds and shadows on high. AC4 Black Flag is what I've been running thru this week, and that is on high but shadows dropped to medium. I've yet to oc gpu and cpu as I'm happy currently. I just set my settings to where it doesn't effect gameplay not caring about hard numbers.

Resolution is 1920x1080.
