As a gamer and game developer I need very powerful PC. I intended to go overkill and went us much as my student budget stretched.

Juiz is designed for VR gaming and development. I also intend to do some machine learning neural network stuff as part of writing my bachelor's thesis, so also that kind of computing is needed.

I chose to go with all black parts and have a subtle RBG lightning to bring color to the build. I'm later going to add some kind of nameplate to cover the now-empty SSD tray at the front of the case. (I also need to do some cable management outside the case ':D)

Nice build! I'm building a similar rig. I've purchased the motherboard and the 7700k on Father's Day. I'm caught between the Gigabyte 1080 Ti 11GB AORUS Xtreme Edition and your video card i'm trying to decide. :/ The PSU is my next purchase. How is the SuperNOVA 850 working for you? I was looking to get that or the 1000w for SLI in the future. Suggestions anyone?

Hi! If you have already purchased Asus motherboard I would go with the Asus GPU too just for the lightning combo. Though the front-facing HDMI port in Gigabyte's card would have been absolutely fantastic in S340 Elite as it has HDMI port on front panel too. SuperNOVA feels fantastic but as I've only had it for little over a week I can't really tell how stable it is. The packaging was amazing, had anything you could ever need and there were no troubles installing it. I also left room to upgrade to SLI, I think 850W should be fine but you should off course check how much power do your setup and your possible future setup need.

Very nice looking PC! Hint of RGB on a dark sleek build, great taste! Need moar pics, btw

Great build! I have a few more parts to buy, and i will have the exact build you do! +1 What are your temps on the gpu? I'm having some second thoughts about my case because of a concern for thermals.

I basically have the same build, and the gpu is 30C at idle and between 45C to 65C for gaming on my setup. The entire system stays very cool and suprisingly quiet with proper fan and pump curves.

does the strix 1080ti have sag on that premium mobo? thanks :)

CSB0518 1 Build 2 points 18 months ago

I have the same gpu and mobo and there is very minimal sag. You dont notice it. Check my build if you want. Nice build btw Morland!

Could i ask is your front intake, top exhaust and rear exhaust?

Morland submitter 1 Build 1 point 18 months ago

Yes that is correct

This is the exact same PC i'm looking to build in the next few days part by part. Amazing! And how is it treating you?

Morland submitter 1 Build 2 points 17 months ago

It is treating me amazingly this far. The building process had some problems, Windows wasn't going to work and the RAM's speed and lightning had to be set up manually. But after I got everything set up and working it has been absolutely fantastic, boots fast and runs every program smoothly.

The_Viper 2 points 17 months ago

Great to hear can't wait till I put together my system.

Erik08 1 point 17 months ago

Did you run into trouble with the limited 2.0 headers on the mb?

Morland submitter 1 Build 1 point 17 months ago

Yeah, as IX CODE only has one usb 2.0 header and Kraken needs one, the front panel usb ports was left with no header. I plan on getting some kind of usb header splitter/hub.

Hello Morland, first of all I love the build but I'm wondering in regards to the lighting what do you mean by shuttle RBG lightning? English is not my native language so I'm not so sure, do you install it inside the case, are they strips or can you give me a reference? this looks super cool. Thanks!!

Morland submitter 1 Build 1 point 12 months ago

Oh I meant subtle, English isn't my first language either :'D I fixed it now. And thanks for the feedback :)
