Description

As a gamer and game developer I need very powerful PC. I intended to go overkill and went us much as my student budget stretched.

Juiz is designed for VR gaming and development. I also intend to do some machine learning neural network stuff as part of writing my bachelor's thesis, so also that kind of computing is needed.

I chose to go with all black parts and have a shuttle RBG lightning to bring color to the build. I'm later going to add some kind of nameplate to cover the now-empty SSD tray at the front of the case. (I also need to do some cable management outside the case ':D)

Nice build! I'm building a similar rig. I've purchased the motherboard and the 7700k on Father's Day. I'm caught between the Gigabyte 1080 Ti 11GB AORUS Xtreme Edition and your video card i'm trying to decide. :/ The PSU is my next purchase. How is the SuperNOVA 850 working for you? I was looking to get that or the 1000w for SLI in the future. Suggestions anyone?

Hi! If you have already purchased Asus motherboard I would go with the Asus GPU too just for the lightning combo. Though the front-facing HDMI port in Gigabyte's card would have been absolutely fantastic in S340 Elite as it has HDMI port on front panel too. SuperNOVA feels fantastic but as I've only had it for little over a week I can't really tell how stable it is. The packaging was amazing, had anything you could ever need and there were no troubles installing it. I also left room to upgrade to SLI, I think 850W should be fine but you should off course check how much power do your setup and your possible future setup need.

Great build! I have a few more parts to buy, and i will have the exact build you do! +1 What are your temps on the gpu? I'm having some second thoughts about my case because of a concern for thermals.

I basically have the same build, and the gpu is 30C at idle and between 45C to 65C for gaming on my setup. The entire system stays very cool and suprisingly quiet with proper fan and pump curves.

CSB0518 1 Build 2 points 6 days ago

I have the same gpu and mobo and there is very minimal sag. You dont notice it. Check my build if you want. Nice build btw Morland!

This is the exact same PC i'm looking to build in the next few days part by part. Amazing! And how is it treating you?

Morland submitter 1 Build 2 points 3 days ago

It is treating me amazingly this far. The building process had some problems, Windows wasn't going to work and the RAM's speed and lightning had to be set up manually. But after I got everything set up and working it has been absolutely fantastic, boots fast and runs every program smoothly.

Great to hear can't wait till I put together my system.
