Description

Mainly built this PC for gaming, but hopefully I can use it for other work related functions in the future. Everything went together pretty nicely, I had ordered some custom red sleeved cables from Corsair but they were all defective so I decided to go with the black ones instead. Other than the cables this computer runs like a champ it has no issues with any of the games that I throw at it.

*Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures my phone just didn't want to work for me.

  • Need to figure out a name for this lovely machine so any suggestions would be welcomed :)

Why didn't you go with MSI GPU? It goes with your color scheme and more powerful than gigabtye!

You can't really see the silver of the Gigabtye one once the card is installed. I am considering painting the silver to red though just to make it alittle more complete.

G1 is the king of OC so far. Not MSI. Maybe wait for kingpin, G1 will also lose to it

If you get Corsair Link running correctly, you can change the led color of the Corsair logo to red too :)

Thanks for the top! I've been wondering how to do that.

No worries. But emphasis on IF you get it running correctly. Link is some of the worst software I have ever used.

Yeah I can agree with you there. My H100 wont appear on the software for me to change the rgb lighting.

Same thing happened to me. Then it just worked one day '_(ツ)_/'

Looks good. Glad gigabyte realized their problem with their older windforce cards and finally put a RGB LED in the new 980 ti cooler.

Why the formula though? The Hero is pretty much just as good but $100 cheaper.

I figured I'd rather just spend another $100 for some more features and more future proofing down the road.

for your first build i'm a little confused why go so high end with a 980ti at least go 1440p monitor no your have 1080p, next gaming rig why i7 with 16gb of ram. like im not trying to be mean at no means, but your build makes no sense. for a gaming pc i think you mean bragging rights. now i'm assuming this is your first gaming pc from what you said.i mean even the motherboard is the biggest thing for gaming the ******* thing is meant for water cooling to overclock the **** out of the cpu for your first build why don't you make a whole custom water loop. then the i7 overclocked to 4.5 and underload 57c HOLD ON BRB............ if that's a result from prime95 not even custom loops can get that lol

Not sure why the cables turned out to be defective but all the sata cables and power cables were't doing their jobs. So I just tried out the black psu ones and everything started to work. So I'm not really sure why the cables didn't work but I ended up sending them back.

When I bite into it I get the sensation of being at the top of a mountain.

Does that help at all?
