Also That isn't the right GPU, but I couldn't find the one I had. I just have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 770.

I really like the color scheme. To bad there is like 1 green motherboard in the entire world.

All the gigabyte sniper boards are green and they are on 90% of all modern sockets at this point

Yes I wasn't counting individual boards, I meant that line of board. Guess I should have stated that.

Lol "1 green motherboard" doesn't define an entire series of motherboards.. :P

Well the reference Gtx 770 in the picture sure doesn't look the same as the Acx cooler version from Evga in the parts list...

Why there is a stock cooler version on the parts lists...

Yeah, it is just a Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 but I couldn't find it in the part list. Yeah, I almost got a gigabyte to keep the same scheme. The ram I have actually had for awhile it was the only thing that wasn't new on this build.

Did you consider getting the 4GB 770?

why would he? Doesn't look like he does triple monitor gaming or anything.

Like I said to XDestroyer, I was just wondering if he considered it since newer games might have recommended specs of a GPU with 3GB or more (BF4 actually was listed as recommending 3GB of vRAM). I'm sure 2GB will be fine for a while to come, no?

Pretty sure it will be unless you play on more than 1 monitor or very high resolution.

4GB of vRAM is only useful for gaming at resolutions higher than 1080p and multiple monitors.

I didn't know that was the case. I have a 3GB GPU, I was afraid as newer games were developed that aren't hamstrung by 360/PS3 ports that 3GB and up would start being the recommended amount for high-end games.

Lol 2GB and 3GB will pretty much give you the same performance if you game on 1080p/single or dual monitor/. Buying 3GB of VRAM isn't bad or anything though, it's still better.

I thought about it, but I read only 2gbs is useful for one screen. I eventually want to go sli and I will pick up a 4gb for triple monitors.

where did you get this version of the gtx 770?

I picked up the Nvidia at Best buy, they recently had their cards go on sale and I also just got a BB credit card.

Just saying the GTX770 is 02G-P4-3771-KR from EVGA. Thats what I found

I know the card you're talking about, and its almost the same thing, but not quite. Best Buy carries a 770 that has a board, cooler, and processor made by Nvidia. The EVGA one has a board produced by EVGA and an Nvidia processor and cooler. Virtually the same, but one is $10 cheaper for some reason.
