This is my first ever complete pc build. I've been wanting to do one for awhile now but of course the biggest problem was money. Being a full time college student money is hard to come by. However I am studying ITS so I wanted a pc to run virtual machines to get an out of the classroom experience with some enterprise applications, and of course the occasional gaming. The build was rather straight forward. Everything was purchased from microcenter in a few trips ( no thanks to a sales associate getting me the wrong processor out of the lockup the fist time around). Assembly was easy and I had it done in a few hours. I'm glad I chose to go with an x99 based system, the platform seems solid with many options to expand in the future.
I apologize for the poor images, I hope to have better ones soon.
