Needed to upgrade from my old and dying pc. This was my first build.. Any thoughts on what i could of improved on for what i paid for it? £1000 was my budget and i spent £950.

I already had my HDD/Optical from my old pc

Edit - HDD is 7200rpm not 5400

Nice build and pretty good part choices, but I would get an SSD eventually if you can just to speed things up. I probably would have gone with a 7200RPM HDD as it would be probably the same price, and faster.

Other than that just work on the cable management a bit more. +1

Thank you.

oooppps... my HDD is a 7200rpm, just clicked on the wrong one DERP. And I'm saving for a SSD :)

And what could i do for the cable management? should i try and get all the wires behind the mobo ? would that be better for cooling ?

Yeah, try as hard as you can to hide the cables behind the back panel. Yes, it would be much better for cooling as well.

If you do so, would you mind taking pictures then putting them up here and send me a private message so I can see? I'd love to see what you do with it. :)
