Description

I had been planning this build for a few months buying parts here and there when I had the money to, saving money to buy all at once is hard.

I got everything in sans the Graphics Card 2 weeks ago put all of that together to make sure the thing posted. Not only was this my first build but I was doing it on my own. It was a very trying experience from getting the motherboard seated on the standoff to plugging in the fan connectors and front panel IO. It specifically was hard to maneuver in the H440 because my hands are so large and there is a nice steel barrier to the hard drive cages that cut off a lot of the space and the Power Supply shroud making it difficult for me to plug in the USB 2.0/HD Audio/Front Panel IO. The first time I thought I had everything plugged in correctly, I tired to make sure the PC would POST, it didn't. Fortunately I was correct in thinking some of the FPIO was miss placed so I carefully rectified that and it wouldn't you know it worked.

I spent the rest of the day after the build bench marking, doing some overclocking on the processor (up to 4.6 GHz), pre-downloading games in await of my 1070. I got that about a week after the initial build and placed it into the PC without much hassle. It works very well, all-things considered, especially since I am using it on a 4k TV until I get a proper monitor. This was the most amount of time, effort, and swearing I have put into a project like this but I am very proud of the end result.

I'll get more pictures up when I can. I am work and this was the only one I had on my phone at the time.

mine is exactly the same too, except I have an AMD processor, NZXT S340, NZXT X61 Kraken, and all the other parts are different too. But hey, it's a PC.

Nice build chuck!

Thanks. I made an edit saying I will get more pics up when I can. I made this post at work and only had the one.

As for the Corsair logo I really wanted it to be horizontal but the tubing wasn't cooperating with me. What really makes me angry is I can not get a deep enough red on the corsair link , it always looks pink.

Behold the curse of the AIO. Hey, you made it work. Maybe with some sophisticated mirror work you could make it look right-side-up :]

Said it perfectly. Most of my new builds start by getting a decent deal on one part...then I have to start buying the rest of the stuff.
