I use this for gaming, browsing and light video editing.
i am not in the U.S so the prices are just like that. but maybe if i am there it would have been around 1200-1250 i think(all of my parts).
after i built it and played for a few hours, i realized(yea it just sink-ed in to me) that 16gb of ram is overkill for my gaming. i should've went for 2x4gb instead, i could have saved some money.
few days later i want some colored cables but my psu is not modular. it is still possible to mod the psu from experienced persons but you have to pay them extra to do that and it will void the warranty.
-so my lesson here is.... to hold my excitement next time and research slowly but surely. though i researched this 2 & 1/2 week
-other than that, it all looks great to me.
Other items (reviews)
Mouse & keyboard - i got the standard ones in a4tech i ran out of budget to buy good gaming keyboard and mouse, it has long life. perfect for a budget keyboard&mouse.
AVR - got a UPS which will save me from damaging my build.
Controller(gamepad) - of course ill go with this one. it's the cheapest and quite good unlike any other generic controllers
i want the i5 6th gen which is perfect for overclocking. though i have not plan to oc "yet". in the long run i will
cryorig is not available in my country or at least its rare to see one, so i went with this corsair h60 keeping my cpu temp around 50-53 C when stressed at 100%, i didnt oc yet though
a z170 mobo that fully supports overclocking for my chosen cpu, i went for the msi z170 gaming pro board with rgb led lighting, with usb3.1 gen 2 for faster transferring of files, comes with a mouse master feature which means increased response time, connectivity and customization for your mouse.
any ram will do, but this will be perfect for my theme
for its long lasting quality, and all my friends use this, samsung 850 is better though but i got the 750, 120gb is enough for me, maybe ill just upgrade in the future. and also 750 is the cheaper version of samsung 850 evo IMO
just your normal hdd
i want the asus strix 1060 which is a better one than this but sadly my budget wont be enough to cover the expense. anyway this is still fine.
what i have in mind is the seasonic m12ii(fully modular) but the store i went to said they are out of stock. i am also okay with this one since the Psu placement is shrouded in the tecware alpha
you see its a frame-less monitor in the physical aspect but when you turn it on it's not true at all lol. though it is still very good it is an IPS monitor after all
