This is my budget build, I got a second hand graphics card and monitor off my uncle but all the other parts I purchased myself. This build is so much better than my crapy old laptop.
Congrats dude on your computer! It looks like an awseome computer to start on. The GTX 780 TI can still play games just fine and its a great place to start for sure. It trades blows with a gtx 1060 which i can garentee that any developer is going to make sure that games run fine on that card since its one of the most popular out there. Welcome to PCMR!
Thanks, My pc can run most games I want to play at high settings but if I was going to upgrade the gpu, what should I get?
I was thinking about getting an Rtx 2060 super
That's a pretty decent card to upgrade to but I would wait a bit and see what AMD has to offer this year. That will definitely make Nvidia respond, likely with dropping prices across their own product line. If so, you could manage even a 2070 Super for the current price of a 2060 Super. Patience can pay off.
Ok, thanks for the advice!
Maybe a GTX 1660 SUPER would be best. It’s better than the GTX 1060 but the same price since the 1000 series is discontinued, but it’s definitely cheaper than an RTX 2060 SUPER.
there is no rush to upgrade
gpu's will always go down in price overtime. If it runs everything you have at high settings wait until something you want to play can't. the longer you wait the less you will pay.
Oh I’m dumb. PC Master Race.
Great first build! The 780 Ti still kicks *** nowadays
Really like the build! Was wondering how many fps you get on certain games such as fortnite, COD, and Seige (if you play those)?
On fortnite i can get about 60 fps on epic settings, I dont have the newest cod or seige.
Thanks everyone for the helpful comments
I am only 13 and still have a lot to learn!
Inspiring buddy! I’m a fan of this build
