Description

Still a Work in Progress.

Just waiting for the now ASUS DC290x DirectCU II. So in the mean time I am using my old 6950.

All the cables were manually sleeved using paracord.

For anyone interested in sleeving. Paracord is dirt cheap on Ebay. It only cost me $20 bucks to sleeve every cable in my computer.

those temps are amazing! how much rpm are the fans at and are they loud?

Yea. The H100i is performing beyond my expectation.

Yeah but does it sacrifice how loud it is? Because I want to get those fans but I know they are loud, are you experiencing that?

They are really really loud when they are running at 2000+ RPM

However, I only run them at like 1100 RPM. They are super quite at this level.

One more thing to mention. My computer is in the basement and the temp down there is really cold. Maybe 17- 18c.

My computer will be standing right next to my window which right now is 1 degree Fahrenheit right now xD

I suggest you should pick Sapphire's R9 290X Tri-X as it cools much better than the DirectCUII as I have seen at some reviews. . But hey, it's just my opinion.

Ahem... Color scheme? Acoustics?

Alright. But it was just an opinion. I prefer performance over looks. Plus, all of us have different taste in rigs.

Yea the Color Scheme would be off. :(

I really wanted the MSI 780 lightlight before. But once again the color would ruin everything. (haha first world problems)

Thanks for the suggestion thou.

Thanks.

The SSD was something I had from my previous computer. So I decided to stick with it a save a few bucks. I will most likely upgrade that in the future.

And for the GPU. I am actually still waiting for the Direct CU from Asus. What you see in the photo is my old 6950.

^ this wait is driving me crazy. And I really don't want to pay $100 over MSRP for the card
