Description

Was able to score a good deal with the 750 series. But I bought the Gpu at microcenter, was sad because it was a little too expensive. One of the noctua fans failed. So I had to change it. Still choosing which monitor should I use.

Monitor? I'd look at ASUS.

It's a pretty nice build.

Have you got a regular HDD perhaps for extra storage. You can get 1tb HDD for $30 and it'd good for lots of pics, vids and smaller games

Hi, Great build! I'm planning to get this same GA-Z170x Gaming GT motherboard, but can't find much review and user opinions online. From Gigabyte website, looks like it's bios/drivers released are slower for this motherboard compare to Gaming-G1 and other GA gaming motherboards. Would like to hear your opinion about this motherboard. Any issue so far? thanks.

So far no issues. I've read the user manual. Just be weary if you are using a pcie ssd, it will limit your ssd slots. I think using 1 pcie ssd closed a couple of slots for my ssd.

Great build. Could you tell me more about your cooler setup ? I was reading on the noctua website that you need 120mm mounting holes for this heat sink ? Did you just stretch the latch that came with the stock fans to fit your 140mm iPPC fans ?

Thanks. Lots of challenges when I was building it. Like the ram, It was not turning on only to find out I did not stick it in there snugly. (beginners challenges)
