Description

First build. Did all the research and picked out all the parts. Bought most of the parts during Amazon Prime day. The gpu and psu i bought used but in excellent condition off of reddit.com/r/hardwareswap for $220 total. The RAM and case fans I got from a friend for $40 total. Originally, the mobo i wanted was the MSI b450 tomahawk but due to people having a lot of issues, lack of information from MSI as per the release of the MAX version, I decided to get an x570 board after waiting for over a month. As for peripherals, I had a ten year old BenQ HD monitor from my sister that she wasn't using anymore, so the only thing I bought as far as peripherals was a mechanical keyboard. I think i spent around $900 for a system that costs possible twice that if i were to have paid full price for everything. I'm extremely happy with my system. Runs smoothly and haven't had any issues whatsoever.

Man, I would love to have built this at that price point. Nice job. I'm hard pressed to to go for Ryzen 3rd gen, but the additional cost of a 570 series board is making me pause. Maybe I'll wait for the B550 series to come out.

is the NVME drive the only storage you have? you might want a bit more than that
