Description

First of all, this is my first ever build. The main purpose of this build is for gaming with a potential of streaming/rendering later on. I decide to go with an AMD CPU and GPU because of my budget. So far putting it together was fairly generic expcept for my rad. I did have to get a bit creative when installing it... All the parts work as I imagined and the r9 390 is a beast for the price. I did start noticing a bit of bottlenecking with my CPU but it was easily dealt with by overclocking. I've only overclocked my FX 8350 to 4.5GHz so far and with my cooler I am planning to get a stable 4.8 GHz in the near future.

Yes... omg is it in the worse place ever. Sorry having flash backs of my build a few days ago. Very nice rig you put together! Although you left the AsRock motherboard off the parts list.

Yea that's been bothering me as well... I'm thinking of getting a new board as soon as I make enough for it. Primarily my fault for going cheap on the mobo :/

If the only problem with the motherboard is the appearance don't change it! as long as it does its job, invest on a ssd - samsung 850 evo whether 120gb or 250gb. They have a good price/performance ratio and run them in rapid you would be amaze. My Samsung 850 Evo 250GB on rapid

Suggestion for your case (since I have the same just in white); if you want to mount a 3rd fan on your radiatior, it will fit on the bottom section without you having to remove the blue bar. You can always take that bar completely out too if you want to mount 2 fans for a pull/push setup. Nice build!

Could also route the usb 3.0 header cable from the top if it reaches. I actually had this same mobo and it frustrated me that they put it all the way over there lol.

What games/programs did you notice the CPU bottlenecking? Sweet build - I like the blue theme.
