CPU: I chose the 3570k because of the changes to clock speed are very small from 3rd generation to 4th generation. Because of the cooler I am only comfortable with the idle temps being higher than 40C, so I just stuck with a very modest overclock of 4GHz. The extra 2 cores are really amazing, especially because I am coming from an I3-2130.

Cooler: The cooler was a birthday present and I was very happy to receive it because I was using a custom dell cooler from a prebuilt system. So a welcomed upgrade, with the ability to have slight overlocks as well. (I would not recommend this cooler if you don't have a fan controller or low noise adapter. It runs at 1800 RPM all the time)

Motherboard: This motherboard is amazing! It looks great and has four RAM slots, and has the signature red/black color scheme of ROG. You might wonder "Why a Z68 board?" and the reason is it has all the features I need and works flawlessly with my I5-3570k allowing me to overclock.

All of the other parts are reviewed on the previous build where I "frankensteined" parts from an old dell and put them into this computer (The only parts from dell that remain are the HDD and RAM).

I want opinions: Should I buy the GTX 970(recommend a GPU of you have a favorite around that price point) or the case next?

Thanks, I've put a lot of time and effort into making this thing work. I hope you don't run into many issues while building!
