I built this machine for gaming and game development. I choose the 4690k mostly due to price. This system was over $100 cheaper than the skylake build I was looking into. I had fun putting the build together. It has been over ten years since I built a pc. I was a little surprised at how easy it was to put together. Everything was installed and running Windows in under 4 hours. I haven't stressed it or overclocked it yet. I will be doing both soon and updating this build when I do.
Edit 2/20/16: I have finally done some overclocking got a stable 4.5ghz on 1.260V on the 4690K. Also overclocked GPU to 1080Mhz. Had 3DMark 11 score of P14342. Added temps as well.
Very fast and stable great easy 1Ghz overclock.
Keeps the 4690k cool while ocing. Looks good. Easy install.
Nice board. UEFI BIOS is great, easy overclock settings.
Nice fast ram. Looks good with blue and white color scheme.
Great GPU runs all the games I have played maxed 1080p 60fps.
Love the case, looks great and easy cable management.
Great power supply more than enough headroom for overclocking.
