First time ever building my own PC. It was a lot of work... but well worth the effort in the end.
Used for gaming. Attached to a 55" HDTV via HDMI.
Build is very cool and quiet which was the main goal.
Went with the NXZT H440 case because of superior cable management, stylish case, good airflow. I also wanted this case because it didn't want any external drive bays (who uses these anymore? On my Asus gaming laptop I have used the BlueRay /DVD burner twice: 1. when I got the computer to make backup disks, and 2. when I made this build)
Creating a boot disk from a USB SDHC Memory card was a pain. Couldn't get a bootable SD card made with a Microsoft Disk ISO. I finally had create the bootable disk and copy the files over from the windows install DVD so I could install the OS.
Figuring out how to install the power for the Graphic Card took way too much time (Noobishness problems). I spent too long thinking I didn't have enough power to the card because nothing was showing when the system booted. The BIOS was set to use the video card instead of the built in video. I needed to use the built in video so I could install drivers. Once I had figured that out and installed the EVGA Geforce drivers it worked perfectly. The power supply has a cable that has both a 8 pin and 6 pin cable which worked perfectly for providing power.
Installing the front panel cables was a pain since the cables are so small.
This is a very sweet machine.
