Description

Second build gaming PC. Finally finished after a couple snaffus, main one being a Corsair AIO cooler set up being incompatible I'm my case until I used alternate screws and the included NZXT fans instead of the Corsair fans.

The screws provided by corsair should work. Currently doing a build with the same case and the H100i pro and the best thing to do is actually take out the mounting bracket.

Just bought the same set up and have been scratching my head trying to work out the best configuration for this case.

H100i RGB Platinum with H510 Elite

Current, when looking into the side window - RAD > BRACKET > FANS (that came with H100i) pulling air in from outside of case, into Rad > Front of case

Because the "Elite" bracket has a deeper step to it compared to H500, H510i, the rad+fans don't fit on the 'inside' side of the bracket.

I have been considering:

  1. RAD > BRACKET > H510 ELITE Fans (NXZT AER 280mm) > FRONT OF CASE and using the 2x H100i fans as rear and top exhaust With this option though, I'd be using mis-matched fans (280mm) to the rad (built for 2x 240mm), but am assuming that's not too much of a big deal.

  2. Same as current set up, but using 2x purchased additional Corsair 240mm fans as rear and exhaust keeping all fans Corsair

Based on your post, I'd defo just remove the bracket if an option - but then there's nothing to secure the Rad or Fans to, right? Or did you find a way?

Take the AIO usb and route it behind the motherboard (up and over). Cable management is like 80% patience, 15% creativity, 5% skill. Anyone can do a decent job if you give yourself time.

How did you mount the radiator for the cooler? I copied you and someone else re this case and cooler and can't seem to mount it :(

Also does the pump come with thermal paste applied?
