Still not 100% finished gotta add a cpu and stuff will update.
EDIT: Finished up the build a while ago, just got around to making a video for it.
Seems like a good gaming build. I hope you are livestreaming, video editing, or doing something else that can take advantage of the 8 cores though. I would also recommend putting everything in the mobo (except GPU) before installing it in the case. That can really save you a headache later.
We have the same case. :) how do you find it.
It's a pretty nice case. Haven't booted it up yet to see the LED's and what not, but the overall design is good imo. TONS of space which is awesome.
BALANCED. I LIKE THIS.
You're gonna have to take out the motherboard anyways to install the hyper 212 evo :) [CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG.]
It depends on whether or not he can access the back of the mobo from the other side of the case - some cases have motherboard cutouts specifically for things like that. I'd wager a $120 case does have one, though.
nah you can do it with the board still in the case I installed mine like that. I have the same case :)
I didn't have to take the motherboard out.
Only things I would have done different is go with the ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z and the low voltage Samsung RAM. But overall, excellent build.
Nice build! Looks good! You should have gone with the gold colored vengeance ram to match your sabertooth :D

Dude, pretty sweet for le moneys!
Are you going to be video editing? IF so, please let me know, im building a rig with an 8350 in it so i would like to know :D
I probably will. I have done a little in the past, but it should be pretty good to do on this new setup, so i'll probably get into it more.
If this is for gaming only, you should have got the FX-6300 as it performs about the same if not better than the FX-8350. However, if this build is to be used for video editing and similar tasks, then great choice on the FX-8350 and the other components except the RAM
i think it's more future proof and besides it's only around 5 fps difference; later on it's just overall good
Yeah, this was my thinking
Actually, the 6300 isn't faster than the 8350. The 6300 has a stock/boost clock of 3.5/4.1 GHz, where the 8350 is at 4.0/4.2 GHz. They're the exact same chip, so the extra clock speeds and cores will do nothing but benefit it over the 6-core.
Well I could have dropped the CPU in there, but decided i'll just wait until i get the cooler master hyper evo 212.
