MSI Z97 PC Mate.http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97pcmate Very good because it can overclock and crossfire which is what you need. It's also quite cheap.

I can see why you'd want to swap MOBO out... Check out pretty much anything ASUS, top of the line quality and reliability.

Yeah, when this pc was being made it was built around a g3258@ 4.3 ghz With the mobo as a bundle. Bought the gpu and got a bottleneck, then saw the i5 local had to get it lol.

Depends on your budget, you can rely on Asus Maximus VII ranger or hero. Very durable cards. Your cpu deserves that :)

Asus and MSI both make good MoBos. I am partial to Asus. I have used Asus many times without issue. User friendly. Easy BIOS updating.

Not a bad build. More photos would be nice.

Just one thing struck me as odd was the 5400 rpm 3TB. I assume the 500gb was gutted from another pc, but the 3tb appears to be a new purchase. I just am curious why this was chosen when there are 7200rpm 3tbs in the same price range. Other than that, it looks good. Jealous of that gpu.

The hdd was from a gutted ext storage unit lol. Bought the 1tb for this build.

The main thing that sticks out to me are the Hard Drives. I would strongly suggest getting an SSD as that will give you a noticeable increase.

You would likely want the SSD and 3 TB inside, and if you need more storage beyond that go for something external.
