Description

Tired of my old color scheme (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/xTm8TW), I moved to Orange. I think it looks cool.

I just recently upgraded to a GTX 1080ti, a beast card. And I couldn't be any happier with the performance, this card really takes advantage of the 144Hz of the Acer Gsync monitors. I don't think I would be changing this card anytime soon.

And yes, I love Metal Gear Solid.

Looks like you keep your CPU and GPU quite cool.

Yes, I think: Idle GPU and CPU go around 28-30. Load around 45-50.

I work with all sorts of video resolution, from 1080p, 1440p and even 4K. They take a lot of space, plus videogames of course. So that's why.

Love the soft tubing!

oskr989 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 12 months ago

Thanks! I also like it a lot. I wanted to go with rigid tubing with this build, but there is something that always attracts me to clean soft tubing.

Big Shell wasn't a cube... You played us like a damn fiddle! + 1 Beautiful and clean build my friend. Love me some Metal Gear too.

Question: How do you find the Black Ice rad and whats it like for cooling wise ? manstein555

oskr989 submitter 3 Builds 2 points 11 months ago

Really good. Reviews say you loose a couple of degrees due to the single pass, but under load my GPU and CPU never go above 50°. I'd rather add a couple of degrees (if any) for the convenience.

They are really worth it, in my opinion.

cooling beats my system by 6 degrees Celsius!!!!

Nice upgrades. Looks like Halloween. Of course I'm also whistling Rocky Top for URL while liking at the build.

Thumbs up.

A m.2 could have save you some cash and it's a little bit faster than the SSD.

oskr989 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 12 months ago

No doubt it would, but when I picked the SDD, m.2 was somewhat new, and I have to admit I didn't know about them, so went the SSD route.

Bosswoman3 1 point 12 months ago

You should research m.2 they will tell you alot.

I absolutely need to know where u got your custom Aorus water blocks ? I bought the GTX 1080 Ti 11GB Aorus Waterforce Xtreme Edition but it's the aio version with the not-so-appealing-aesthetic-plastic-shroud. (got it 3weeks used for $628 usd. with the warranty receipt no defects =D )

oskr989 submitter 3 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Sorry for the late response. I ordered via Amazon. The water block is not custom made, it came with the card. See this link.
