Okay so I just completed, well almost completed my second build. I say almost completed because I just sold my MSI Gaming X 1080 ti, and I have ordered 2x Asus Strix ROG OC 1080 ti's for sli. This is my all out, no holding back build. The only thing I skimped on was the RAM. I have never used the TridentZ RGB before so I wasn't sure how I would like it. Turns out I love the look. So next pay day I will be purchasing another 16GB kit.
I just enjoy building PCs and getting ridiculous with it. I really have no use with a desktop other than to run a few games and VR. I use my laptop for everything (Dell XPS 15 9560 i7, 32GB DDR4, GTX 1050, 1TB NVMe, 4k, etc.). So after I get bored of it in a few weeks/months it will be for sale. Either part out or whole system.
I will upload pictures when my gpu's get here on Sunday.
The only way I can think of making it better is building a dual custom loop. I never built a water cooling system before so I didn't want to risk it leaking on such high end parts.
Edit: Just added Pictures. Also added a picture of my xps 9560, akitio node, and my 4k oled that I connect to.
Edit: 3D Mark Score - http://www.3dmark.com/fs/13413203
Edit: Sold the Strix 1080 ti's to move to Sli Titan Xp's... Ended up with Sli Gaming X 1080 ti's. Also added another 16gb of Trident z rgb to bring the total to 32GB of 3000mhz (will try overclocking the ram soon) also added a second Samsung 960 Drive and a WD HDD. Installed Corsair individually sleeved cables and CableMods AIO tube covers.
Edit: Finally liquid cooled. Traded my SLI 1080 ti's for a Poseidon 1080 ti. May think about adding a second one. I used XSPC Raystorm cpu block, 240 Rad, 360 Rad, and D5 Photon pump/res combo. Added NZXT Hue+ with RBG Fans and LED strips. PrimoFlex Tubing, EK and XSPC fittings. Flushed system with sysprep and distilled water. Currently running Blue Opaque fluid from Primochill. CPU is steady at 29/30C. Its about 42C while gaming.
