Hello everyone! This is my PC that started out as frustration from my old PC. Which was all my fault you see, I bought a "55" UHD TV. And well this is the end result. I hooked up my sweet TV to my old PC and it went uuugh are you kidding me? Before my average frames were playable, At decent settings, Now almost my entire library of games, literally were cut more than in half. Are they playable? meh if you like slo-motion I guess, Or if you enjoy turning every setting way down to get half the frames you were used to getting. That was my frustration. So literally a week after having my TV. Parts for a new PC starting pooping onto my front porch.
And here she is......But the story doesn't end here.
Ok so I get all my parts ordered and start to put it all together. <check> Get it to post the 1st power on <check> install windows <check>
Had it up and running installing all of my steam library, Got a couple games downloaded, And was getting antsy to see what this thing will do, SO I went to load up ARMA 3 and it blue screened on me and turned off so fast I couldn't read what it said the error was.............I literally almost cried. So for the next 2 weeks me and my buddy had this thing apart, I couldn't tell you how many times. It never posted again after this the Q-codes it was giving me wasn't even in the book, Nor on most the forums I was looking on. If you ever get the 0d error on an ASUS MOBO you might want to just send it back, LOL. We came to the conclusion it was either (a)the MOBO is shorting out on the case somewhere because the core v-21 has built in standoffs. (b)the MOBO has a bent pin and the 1st time I put a heavy load on the CPU it arced and fried my CPU and MOBO if you guessed (b) ding ding ding!!! sure enough after looking for 45 mins, With a fluorescent light, And magnifying lens I found it!! So just to be on the safe side I RMA'd both of them. I will be putting it back together as soon as I get them back. But I did manage to take some pics so, I will put them on here.
