This system is a cute little HTPC/Light gaming machine.
The system started a long while back before the Skylake release and only now I have I found the time to complete this build.
This build will be mainly used to play games like Factorio, Starbound, The Binding of Isaac, and many more light games along with emulators.
The CPU I chose for this build is the Pentium G3258, with its two cores it definitely has enough horsepower to handle 4k video playback and some indie games.
The motherboard I chose is the MSI H81I Mini ITX. This choice was a no brainer as the price of the motherboard at the time was only around $45~ with the deal I found on amazon.
The kit I chose was actually from an old system I had back when I was younger. I had an Alienware x51 (yes go ahead and roast me I bought a prebuilt xP) it did me well until it was time to make an upgrade. Either way the Alienware's death breathed life into a new system.
The storage configuration I went with is pretty standard, a 120 Sandisk SSD and a classic WD Caviar Blue for the main storage.
The 1050ti is amazing video card, way more than capable to handle the gaming load while providing an excellent 60fps experience in titles like Portal 2 and CSGO.
The Silverstone Sugo SG13B-Q is a great building experience for a Mini ITX case. The front fan mount allows the system to have great airflow and the provided rubber mounts help to keep the noise down. Overall this is a great case and I would recommend it to anybody looking to build in an ITX form factor.
This card is surprisingly badass.
