Description

A rig I built with my friend, to help him escape the clutches of integrated laptop graphics and aid him in achieving true GLORIOUS 1080P 60FPS PC gaming for the first time. The build itself went flawlessly - although we did put one of the motherboard standoffs in the wrong place (oops). The non-modular PSU made cable management difficult (as you can see from the picture) but it won't cause any heat/airflow problems any time soon. This PC is really quite nice - cheap, efficient and fast. It performs brilliantly and the graphics card looks beautiful (I'm not jealous or anything, honest), and furthermore my friend has had no problems with it.

Congrats on the build - I don't think that the non-modular PSU is to blame for the cable management though. It looks mostly like the order you plugged everything in, maybe with a bit to blame on the case.

Can you run all those cables behind the motherboard tray? You can also bunch up all unused cables from the power supply and zip tie them out if the way in the bottom unused HDD tray! Job done! Great parts choice for the build!!

If you could I would clean up the cable a little bit more. It'd look better and also allow for better air-flow. Badass build tho!

Solid build! I'll leave a +1 in hopes you organize the cables. :P
