Description

I bought the parts for the keyboard a couple months before building the tower. After buying the PC parts I went to put everything together and realized all my parts were black and white.

The pictures have been taken at different times, so some pictures have less/different parts than others. The part list along the side is the most current build (minus two hard drives and three dust shields which I haven't installed yet).

I've included a lot of little things in my part list that may seem unnecessary to include; I making this part list for a co-worker who is about to do his first build and I want to stress the importance of accessories and peripherals to give him an idea of what's out there.

How many fans have you got :D , I absolutely love the look of the white and black build, my own build is being themed around being all black and white as it just has a really classy look about it.

How well does it all perform?

Four 120mm, three 140mm, and 2 GPU fans. Glad you like the black and white look mate. Be sure to send me a link to your build when you finish. The performance is great. The most intensive game I play is GTA V which I can run at high to very high settings. Most of my other games I can mostly max out settings. If I were to do a build now I would obviously go with the newer series of parts (Skylake, DDR4, etc...) but I am very happy with my build. I could have been a little more efficient with what I spent, but overall I would say building a nice computer is one of the better purchases I've made in my life.

How's that processor ? You've gone with Skylake with that budget.

The chip does decent. It has handled everything I've thrown at it in a reasonbale time. Skylake was a ways from being released when I built this and I wasn't going to wait for it. With how much I've spent on this rig, I do wish I went with either a 4790k or a 5820k and a 390. Other than the mild performance gains I wish I had, I'm very satisfied with this build.

Thanks mate. I've always wanted a vertical and this was the perfect opportunity.
