Description

built after using my e8400 processor with 2gb of ram and an NVidia gpu (pre 8400) computer for 8 years. Now I mainly game and use autocad and maya. no issues, works perfectly. some of the prices might be off since i bought most of this stuff when it was on sale. I am now getting a solid 60 fps in all games, I used to get 19fps on league of legends.....

i also did not have to remove the drive bay for the graphics card. it fit very nicely. but dont count on the fan attached to the door. the gpu will probably block it.

these temps were taken during the summer. In the winter the temp are much cooler, around 35-40C.

CPU: didn't want to be overkill, I needed something to game on and do some rendering with. very stable.

COOLER: very good air cooler. keeps things very cold

MOBO: great for overclocking and just overall great.

MEMORY: lifetime warranty and cheep. works perfectly 9-9-9-24

STORAGE: 1TB for files and the SSD for OS

GPU: it was the best cheep graphics card that I could afford. works amazing and I get 60 FPS on everything with ultra on. boosts to 1280mhz

CASE: has a fan controller and has an amazing design. also lots of cable management and storage space. very good airflow

PSU: not much here. works well.

MONITORS: lets go with stunning. amazing graphics. has presets of brightness. good color contrast. and 2ms response time.

KEYBOARD/MOUSE: work great. a lot better than my wireless set that ate batteries 24/7.

SPEAKERS: amazing sound quality. all controlled through one knob on my desk.

Is the fan good enough to handle games in 1080p? I'm brand new to pc's and don't like coolant. Im building my first ever PC and don't want heat to be a problem.

Not sure exactly what "fan" you're talking about, but I can assure you the CPU cooler and all the case fans will get you by perfectly on 1080p. Really water cooling is more of a overclock tool/ a "Hey look at how AWESOME my PC looks!" sort of thing.

water cooling is for extreme overclocks or for people with big pockets/ want to show off. the hyper 12 EVO handles everything fine. never above 50C, and I don't have AC in this room... mostly the Graphics Card does all of the work.

also just from reading, when the water cooling loop fails (even closed loops) you have to replace your entire system. with air, I just have to replace the fan

Meh that is only true in AIO/CLC liquid coolers. If you have a custom loop all you need to do is replace the pump or whatever part fails, i.e. a leak in the radiator because of a accidental puncture.

I wanted to ask about those speakers though, are they pretty good?

the speakers are amazing!!!!! I am coming from a 2 channel where I had to adjust each speaker separetly..... but I like them.
