Description

This build originated from the need of a media server. Eventually my research on current hardware and the drop in cost for many of the components directed my intentions to build an all around gaming computer with a high storage capacity. Most parts were purchased from Newegg but the processor and Seagate Barracuda drive was obtained from Intel through their edge program. Power supply is a salvage from an old build but will soon be replaced by a Thermaltake Toughpower 80 PLUS Gold. Corsair Vengeance LPX has a white heat disperser to match white accents on the board. I decided to have some fun with it and make it flashy. My build currently has Cablemod Widebeam Magnetic RGB LEDs and it looks real loud. I love it! Got the Benq XL2730Z and it's an amazing all around gaming monitor! Secondary monitor is an old Hannspree used for keeping track of chats.

That Power Supply?!? How much did you pay for that? That thing is like hooking a laser show up to a fire-hose and using it to water your lawn.

Shouldn't go anywhere unless you were to fall and push over your desk/pc. If that's the case then RIP

that used to be a tier 2 PSU when it came out (good but not great) i would imaging it would be lower tier 3 upper tier 4 if it came out now

How harsh they grade the PSU does change. Some of the ripple suppression from years ago would be out of spec today.

Salvaged from an old rig. Still good! Thinking about swapping for a G3

how did you get your liquid cooling cords so perfect in this case? Mine don't seem to line up like yours does.

I moved them with a bit of force until they settled. Sometimes you just have to show it who's boss hahahaha

Being a meme. If youre building one, use a 750 or 850 MAX for this setup
