Description

Build with emphasis on next-gen gaming and live streaming.

Next stage is to add a second R9 290X and 3rd 27-inch monitor.

The Asus DC2 R9 290X (slight OC to 1110mhz using the software) is very strong and stays very quiet. The i7 processor (20% OC to 4.2 ghz) is extremely snappy paired with Windows 8.1 on a solid state drive. Currently running Titanfall at maximum settings and 1440p resolution with no problems and no overheating at 60% fan! Unigine Heaven 4.0 maxed-out score is around 1450, but there is a couple high-stress parts of the benchmarking where the FPS dips heavily.

Unfortunately having issues with the front audio ports on the case; still trying to figure that one out.

Prior to this, I was using a Asus G73 laptop (mobile radeon HD 5870) for gaming, so I am obviously stoked about this one!

i think its that one loose hook on the cooler thats making it look like that. maybe i should re-attach that and re-post the pics. don't know if that will help though since everything is apparently lopsided

i havent had it go above maybe 45% fan duty; it has been much quieter than i thought it would be since the original 290X got so much bad reputation
