YOUTUBE VIDEO TO BE UPLOADED

Ok, here's a little background for you. My laptop basically broke. The two monitor setup I used it with essentially fried the motherboard so I needed a computer. I didn't have a lot of money, so I went for cheap parts that will do well in the meantime. I make YouTube videos, so I needed something that was decent, but cheap. I plan on upgrading a lot of things in the future. All recommendations are welcomed, but be easy on me, this is my first build.

Processor: I know the processor isn't the greatest, but I've heard great things about this one. This will most likely be the first thing I upgrade.

Mobo: I really like this motherboard, it looks nice, and has some nice features. Haven't seen the bios yet, but hopefully it will be easy to maneuver through.

Ram (Currently Shipping): This stuff looks great, and I know they sponsor a lot of ESports events, so I didn't think I could go wrong with it. I plan on adding 8 more gigs in the very near future.

HDD: WD is great. Haven't heard anything but good things about there drives. I plan on getting another one of these, and an SSD down the road, but not anytime soon.

GPU: This I have yet to buy this, but it looks like it will handle everything I can throw at it. I know the processor will probably bottleneck it, but that's why I plan on upgrading the A6 very soon.

Case: I love this case. I have nothing bad to say about it. It looks absolutely fantastic, and it was very easy to work with.

Fans: These things are great. They move air well, are very quiet, and they look awesome.

PSU: I don't think I'll need to upgrade this anytime soon, but let me know what you think.

Swap out the A6 for a Athlon 760K and you'll be golden. If you haven't already bought the GPU, buy the 270/270X instead. I recommend this one: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr927oc2gd

I really want to upgrade to the A10 5800k. As for the graphics card, I'll definitely look into the 270x!

Don't buy a 5800K, the 760K is an A10 just without the iGPU. You won't be using it anyways once you get a GPU.

I couldn't agree more but if you had about 300 -400 more dollars you can get an intel i5 quad and a GTX 770 and you can save 10 $ for the same hard drive, the seagate barracuda 1 TB

Intel processors don't work with this mobo, and I really don't want to buy another one.

Seems like it will be a decent build once you get your processor upgraded. I'm using the same motherboard now with a 270X/5800K

Yeah, I really want to upgrade the 5800k, and I'm going to look into getting the 270x instead of the 660.

I'd save up bit more and upgrade to Kaveri on the newer FM2+ socket which your motherboard is compatible with.

What is Kaveri? Sorry, I'm entirely new to this.

Thank you! I took the pictures with a Cannon T3i. Also I tried my best with the cable management, I think it turned out well!

By the way I run the 760K and the 270x. DO IT, you won't get better price/performance than that. You are just wasting money if you get the 5800k. You are paying for integrated graphics that you won't use anyway. Look at my build if you want to.

Thanks so much for the suggestion! That's what I've been hearing a lot so I'll definitely go with that.

I wanted to ask how the ronin was as a case for cable management. I need a new case bad and want to find one that has good cable management and is more minimal than flashy. I do not mind led lighting and I would like a side window. This has pretty much everything.

Nice stuff. Thanks for the abundance of pics. I'm looking at that same case and this definitely helped me get a better view. Good luck with the rest of your build.

I like the build. I'm not down on the A6 at all. Are there chips with better specs? Sure, but for the $$ the A6-6400K is a solid APU. I know you call this your Mediocre Machine, but that case is really impressive. I'm investigating a new build and think I just might have to get one. So what kind of upgrades/improvements have you made since posting this 1 1/2 years ago?
