Description

He shall be called "Martin."

Not quite finished. Still need to throw in my CPU cooler and dump the stock one, but i haven't overclocked it yet so it's alright for the moment. The 850 Pro SSD is amazing, lightning fast boot/load times!

This is my 1st shot with this crazy series Mobo. Let me know if anything looks funky guys.

Primary use: Gaming, nerdy office work of the not very cool variety.

Things i didn't know i loved: Modular PSUs,
Built in accessory tray in the case to keep xtra screws/cable ties etc,
That first time you power on and it doesn't blow up.

Really wanted to roll w/ a M.2 SSD, but the compatibility issues I've read made it seem over my head :( (diddo w/ DDR4)

What i'm not liking: The dangle Qcode speaker looks dumb and is an awkward size.
If Corsair is going to give me 10 bajillion PCI-E and SATA cables, for the love of god at least make them assorted lengths.

PPPLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEAAAASSEEE TAKE OFF that cpu cooler and invest 25 bucks in a real one with a good fan. It's sad to see a 4790k with a stock cooler. I know you said your going to replace but.......... HURYYYYYY!!!!!!

Not to knock your build, I mean you should definitely be proud of something you put a lot of time and effort into, but before you call it sexy please work on the presentation. i.e. cable management.

With that power supply and that case, those cables can pretty much be completely hidden. You have some really high end parts, do them some respect and spend like 30min on tidying up those cables.. Your PC will thank you for it!

That cable management tho. You don't deserve that case!

Well, i haven't had a chance to put much load on it yet, but i'm very happy with how cool AND quiet its been so far. I'm also in a 60 F room, so w/ the low ambient i get a bit of help. Cruises through everything though.

Gentlemen, thank you for your feedback, i do appreciate it and will definitely be making some adjustments (cable management, finally switch out the stock CPU cooler) this weekend and post the updates. Any other recommendations?

I've got most the cable tied behind the back plate, but the nasty MOBO power cable... i always get nervous when making the cable do hard angles or leaving tension on them, makes me feel like i'm going to snap pins or something off the mobo. Should i just be less of a vag?
