Description

I built this around november of last year and have interchanged many parts and this is my final thing for now. Soon I will add an ssd but I am still waiting for them to be cheaper and faster. I just put in the water cooling kit and am running a 4.8 ghz oc at 38c. There are a few things I want to add but dont need atm.

Maybe "Posideon" as a name as in the Greek God of the Ocean?

nice build very clean. but, i think the bottom of the case is screaming for another 240 rad.

and a GPU block. Mind the carpet though.

Water cool a 660 ti?

If he already put down the cash for all of the other parts for a custom loop, why not include the GPU? It's maybe what, $50 more for a GPU block? I know it's not really necessary, but it would make it look more impressive and probably decrease the overall volume of the cooling fans.

GPU blocks are normally around $100-$150.

I doubt they would be that expensive for an out of date card.

$112 for the cheapest full cover 660 Ti from EK, so I dunno.

I could easily fit a 240 down there. I probably will when I watercool the gpu later on since I have no money to spend on my computer atm

I'm guessing you got windows for free, but why the case?

Ya, my parents own a computer shop so they gave me ultimate for it. I got the case because it was big I like the look of it. Plus I got it for cheap.

You got it up to 4.8? nice!

I love seeing builds with white cases, a nice change of pace from the norm but they're definitely unforgiving for cable management, even as well as you did.

How was the ex280 kit? Was thinking of getting one or either the RS240s, what would you recommend? Nice build and nice color scheme as well

I was going to get the rs240 but i thought about how I'm gonna use the pump to add a gpu block so I got the d5 pump which is why i chose the ex280. If you want cheap and looks good for just a cpu and you dont want to expand for about a year, I would get the rs240

Solid build, first good under 1500usd watercooled(custom) PC i've seen on here, everyone seem to love the Corsair and NZXT closed loop water cooling kits.

So Yeah Good job on that!

thanks, I dont like closed loops as much because they dont look cool and dont perform as well as custom loops.

Nah, Neither do i, I would go Air rather than Closed loop, and Custom loop if I'm going for Crazy OC, on booth GPU and CPU. Else Air is my choice.

Interesting choice of coolant color... haven't seen anyone use brown (?) before.
