Description

Well, obviously its my first build, at age 15!

It was pretty fun, easy, and no complications. The parts were chosen with a 700 dollar budget, and it was worth waiting all day on my b-day.

The cpu runs pretty much anything, renders a 20 min video in 15-30 min depending if I am nit doing anything else on the pc. The gpu runs all of my games on max settings except gta 5(cpu hog!). RAM is just sexy and cheap, may end up going to another 8 gigs. The case is "decent," but cable management sucks, and airflow is pretty good.

Hopefully by Christmas I can get an ssd or cpu to an 8350 or an EVGA 950.

Thanks for checking it out!

Part Reviews

CPU

Amazing at everything compared to my Core 2 Duo!!

CPU Cooler

Absolutely ginormous and cools just as good as a liquid cooler!

Motherboard

A beast and is sexy as heck! and lacking more fan connections :P!

I was going to say should have gone with a Skylake i3+B150 board, but never mind me. Have fun with it!

You mind if I ask why?

For the price you could have built one around Skylake i3+B150 board that is slightly faster, MUCH more power efficient, and newer standards. But again, is not a bad build overall.

I probably would of if I have known there were Skylake i3's, but it a bit more expensive and I NEED more than 2 cores. Thanks! And the power draw is only 30-50 more watts than my dell optiplex pc, but the higher power = room heater which I need since it is winter with a foot of snow already. :)

Sort of...I was going to go with a NZXT s340 in black and red, things didn't work out, yesterday I got a check from my grandad so I could get a different case.

I dont know about this build. For $700 you went with an expensive motherboard and cooler and would have put more money onto a GPU. Also that PSU is horrible change that please before your first build becomes your first regret of a build.

I am going to get the same gpu do you think I can run csgo at a high to med setting with good frame rate?

You don't even need a good GPU to run CSGO, i have the same GPU now, but back when I had a regular laptop with i3 and Intel integrated graphics, i got 60 fps on high settings easily. CSGO is highly optimized making it easy to run on almost any PC, so to answer your question, definitely yes.

I don't see why not... I run GTA Online on medium to high settings getting 60-80 fps!
