Description

Hello fellow nerds. This is a build that I've been buying parts for, and still a work in progress. So, first off, I started it with an HP Computer, it was my mothers and I thought it looked pretty good for $50. So it came with a motherboard that supported 16 GB of ram, but it was only after I bought it that I realized that it had 4 ram slots, so only 4 GB a slot. That's why I got the Kingston hyper-x blu (2x4 GB). It already had 6 GB (3x2), so I just put the extra 2 GB in my moms computer. So with a total of 12 GB of ram, I can do pretty much all the video editing and gaming I need to do. So seeing that the just 12 GB of ram wasn't going to cut it with my interacted graphics with my phenom II x4 820, so I went to Microcenter and purchased an XFX Radeon HD 7770 ghz edition as a bundle with the Corsair 430W CX PSU. Runs great without any problems or random shutting off. So because I am going to be doing a lot of recording for my YouTube channel after I've finished this build, I purchased another 1 TB hard drive (the computer came with one) so I can reserve all of that space for the videos. If your interested in Minecraft, in the future Skyrim, and also in the future so how to videos, I recommend checking out my channel. Just search up exactly this on YouTube: theminersminors. It should say at the top: did you mean..... Don't click that it's the first link. Just in case your wondering, or maybe this is the reason your reading this, but this build gets about 800 fps in Minecraft and about 80 in Skyrim with all of the high res textures. Keep in mind I'm using a 27" ips 2k monitor, so I'm really maxing out my video card. I'm planning on getting a Mobo that can support 2 video cards and get the CX750. Also if your wondering why i named it Green Thunder, its what im planning on putting into the system, not whats in it now. Thank you for reading this whole description, I know it's a lot. If you have any suggestions or comments, leave one and I will (most likely) respond within about 12-24 hours. Will update the pics soon, I just ordered the case. Thanks again and happy gaming!

First of all, holy rats nest. Please fix your cable management. You obviously don't have very much OCD at all if you're willing to leave your cables like that. Second of all, there is no way in hell that your 7770 ghz edition gets 80 fps in Skyrim with highest textures. Please explain if I got anything wrong.

I know my cable management is horrible, but HP's case that I'm using has absolutely no space in it, so I'm getting a new case soon so I don't want to spend too much time doing cable management if I'm going to be taking everything out anyway. Plus, I did overclock my GPU, it's currently running at 1.2 ghz. It's not much, but it handles pretty much any game I play really well. Thanks for responding ;)

I dont know how you got your FPS ratings, but even in minecraft i doubt you get 800 FPS or even 80 in skyrim unless you got some if not most settings on low "in video settings".

Minecraft even on mine dosnt even get 800 FPS and i got a EVGA GTX 680 Superclocked Signature 2 lol i get maybe 400 ish if i leave vsync off otherwise its locked to 60 as i hate the tarring effect and in windowed mode well.. yeah naturally it goes higher with once again vsync off.

Hello fellow nerds

Oh lorde, that was pretty cringe-worthy.

The rest of the description is a huge mess of story that's just one mistake after another.

Frankly, if you wanted a computer to record stuff for youtube, you probably should have saved up and built a $750+ build, and then asked around the forums before making any buying decisions so that you can be getting quality parts.
