Description

This is my first build, used mostly for gaming and some school work. I knew nothing about computers before this but I did my research and built everything myself and love my computer! I bought everything within a week of the release of the haswell processors so I am a little late for posting it but I would appreciate any and all feedback! Thanks! P.S.- I know my cable management is crap in those photos. I've fixed it up a bit since but it's still not amazing! Update! Just added an extra 8 gb of Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz RAM!

Nicely done on your first try. Seems like a reasonable build to me although I am more of an AMD/ATI person instead of an Intel/nVidia person.

Thanks! As I entered the world of computers I quickly grew to prefer the Intel/nVidia products. I honestly have no experience with AMD but my current Intel/nVidia products have served me beautifully.

Expect a little more heat from using AMD 8-core CPUs but they perform superb on file decompression/compression and multi-threaded gaming. BF4 is using AMD's Mantle APU which the APU is on ATI R9 GPUs. Either way, you will not regret it. I think both are good.

For CPU benchmarking results, go to http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html

I am also more of an AMD person, just that I don't think he would be needing an upgrade anytime soon.

It be more of a waste to upgrade now, because Intel and Nvidia solutions are just as capable as AMD ones.

No for cpu benchmarking results do not go to passmark. Passmark is an absolute load of ****. Use this site http://www.cpu-world.com/

I'd say intel for cpu, amd for gpu.

I wouldn't spend money on an intel cpu unless i was gonna get a 4930k or above. But that's just me.

One of your fans in the front looks to be pulling air while the other seems to be pushing air. I'm confused...

I have changed the fans on the front since that picture. There are now 2 blue LED fans pulling cool air in.

Its a good one,I think. What do you want to do with this PC?(If you don't mind)

Won't you add an optical drive?

Totally forgot to add it, but I do have a blu-Ray read/write drive! I use it mostly for gaming and some school work and internet browsing.
