Description

My very first build was 7 years ago, it was a AMD build and this time around I switched to Intel...I am using it for gaming and regular web surfing...the Pentium is just temporary because I plan on upgrading to broadwell whenever it comes out...so far I have overclocked the CPU to 4.6 GHz but its more stable at 4.4 and haven't oced the video card yet... I know you enthusiasts out there will have lots to say about the video card and after much research I would've loved a 970 or 290/290x but the budget wasn't high enough to afford it so I went with the 960 and I actually like the way it looks...I am trying to avoid the red/black color scheme as much as I can and by doing so ended up with a bit of a rainbow colored hardware setup.

Awesome job on this build! How's the cooler working out for you with keeping the Pentium's temperature down? Did you run any stress testing or benchmarks? Also, what kind of framerates are you getting in games?

I went cheap for the chassis...next time I plan on getting something more expensive for sure the cable management for me wasnt as bad as you think but the port placement on the motherboard makes it awkward

Hi,

What do you think of the motherboard?

A bit overkill for G3258 but at least there is plenty of headroom for an update :D

The motherboard is nice...the bios is very simple to overclock...I'm a total noob at doing it and figured it out
