Description

I've wanted to build a tiny portable desktop for so long! Inspired by Linus' video. It's so cool and exciting how small and light it is and have a full phat desktop experience with something like it.

The case doesn't include instructions of any kind so took a minute to figure out a few things. And the only fully modular flex PSU I could find is the geeek custom one from Taiwan. But that one's more expensive once it is kitted out + shipping and whatnot. So I figured I just get the SilverStone one, cut the Sata and Molex cables and swap out the fan with a Noctua or Noiseblocker 'cause MY GOD the fan is loud!

Using a 6-pin female to 8-pin male PCIe power connector for the GTX 1660. No issues so far.

Anyway, some quick stats: Played DooM 2016 at 1440p on Ultra settings for about 20 minutes. FPS averaged at 100+- CPU temp's high was 63 c GPU temp's high was 82 c.

Pictures are next to an NZXT S340 Elite and a tissue box for scale. I forgot to take pictures of before/internals. Might take a couple later.

That is such a small case, I didn’t even notice it in the first pic. Really cool build!

Haha thanks! Even though I built it I'm still in a little disbelief on how little and cool it is!

I thought it was a power supply in the first picture. This thing is almost comical. I love it.

I took it to work for show and tell and several people there also thought it was a power supply :P Thanks!

I do wish this form factor was more common outside of low power parts in commercial spaces.
