Can you please give me an idea of how many frames are you getting in any AAA title? :D

Gaming4life22 2 points 5 months ago

just look up 1080 ti sli benchmarks...

dxvinxgado submitter 1 Build 2 points 5 months ago

I put up the benchmark screen from Gears of War 4, 120fps @4k Ultra settings. Anything in particular you wanted to see?

Killerbunny6666 1 point 1 month ago

Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Minesweeper (cause that is the real test). I ask for the first two because I'm planning a build with similar components and want to know what to expect in terms of fps when playing with ultra settings @4k.

dxvinxgado submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

havent re-installed those on my PC but if it helps, I play the Witcher 3 @ 4K with ease. Can do a fps run if you want numbers but it runs well above 60fps.

Killerbunny6666 1 point 1 month ago

No need. Thanks anyways.

One question. Why not use Nvme SSD storage especially since you have gone for sucha high end build

dxvinxgado submitter 1 Build 2 points 5 months ago

Only because I want to wait for 2TB models to drop in price, I will admit, I almost pulled the trigger on a 2TB Samsung 960 Pro, almost.

Why Freesync for your monitor with sli gtx 1080 Ti It's a shame

dxvinxgado submitter 1 Build 2 points 5 months ago

Its actually a back up monitor, The rig is hooked up to a Sony XBR 65X850E.

hi_im_snowman 3 points 5 months ago

Thanks!

i don't understand your point of view you play on a 4K TV and you buy a FreeSync monitor just for back up monitor $$

dxvinxgado submitter 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

Point of view? It's called being an adult with a family, TV is in the living room. When kids or wife want to watch or play something while I am on my PC, I kindly move over and use the Asus monitor. My TV does 1080p@120hz as long as you enable a custom resolution. No matter which way you slice it or whether anyone agrees/understands, I enjoy playing certain titles maxed out @1080p with a 120hz refresh rate on a 65" TV.

Blacksm1le 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

I understand you thank you for your explanation you have a beast in your hands

Gaming4life22 1 point 5 months ago

Maybe because it's cheaper and he will be pushing 100+ fps anyway so screen tearing isn't as big of an issue.

Blacksm1le 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

Look at the price of the PC think not it has problems of money and for the FPS me I get 165 fps with a monitor g-sync before speaking make your research please (6124.15 $) and surely you never tried a g-sync monitor with a NVIDIA graphics card

dxvinxgado submitter 1 Build 2 points 5 months ago

My apologies, did you only look at the pic? The specs clearly list 2 Samsung 850 500GB SSD's. Anyway, they are in a RAID0 array.

Yeah, they helped a lot. The only thing I wish they featured was RGB lighting so I could configure it through Precision XOC. Hell, even a 4 position switch would be awesome like the EVGA HB SLI bridge has.
