Description

I bought these parts to make this a light gaming build. So far I have had no problems and plan to make several upgrades in the future like getting better monitors or more ram. I effectively get 60 frames or more on A.C. Orgins, Fortnite, Hoi4, LFD2, and over 200 frames on CSGO.

My only complaint was how long it took to ship some of these parts. For example my power supply took 3 WEEKS with Amazon Prime and yet they were shipping it from a neighboring state.

I am starting to overclock my Cpu and Gpu but find it troubling when my PC starts to freeze up or just crashes. Any help would be great on how to do this properly and efficiently.

Best of wishes to those who find my PC build helpful or inspiring.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great bang for your buck Cpu, stock cooler is silent, price is very reasonable.

Motherboard

I got this Mobo for around 80 dollar with a free copy of A.C. Orgins. Couldn't have asked for a better deal!

Memory

Good RAM, gets the job done but the price was way to high and I had to settle with only 8 gbs.

Storage

Probably the best/cheapest hdd on the market. It has a good RPM and lots of storage for such a cheap price.

Video Card

Looks nice, is extremely silent, I can barely hear it under load, and has cool features and MSI Afterburner is easy to use.

Case

I absolutely love this case and the price of it. Most cases nowadays have weird grooves and chinks in them which I personally dislike, quiet oppositely NZXT S340 has a simplistic design with a steel and plastic construction. Probably the best case out right now.

Power Supply

This power supply has a great price point and was just what i needed. The cables are a bit stiff but if you bend them enough they become malleable.

If your computer is crashing while trying to overclock the CPU, then you may need to lower the core clock or increase the voltage (or both). GPU overclocking shouldn't cause anything, they automatically downclock when they reach certain temperatures. I've heard R3 peaks at 3.8 or 3.9GHz when overclocked, can't confirm nor deny personally.

Thank you, I think that was the problem when I was pushing it to 3.9, ill just stay at 3.5 or 3.6.

Great build. How is that gpu holding up? Do you find that you have to lower the settings to play some games at 60 fps?

I myself though I was going to have to lower some setting but it runs very well, I rarely have to touch the setting and usually have a coll 60 fps or more.
