Description

My goal was to build a tiny, powerful, yet power efficient machine. Pack as much "Ummphhh" as I can into the smallest package.

Needed an upgrade and was tired of my bulking tower being in the way. This new machine is super tiny and hangs off the VESA mount on the back of my monitor, completely out of sight. For the most part, I choose energy efficient components. Though I did make an exception for the RAM to take full advantage of the DDR-1600 speed available. My only complaint is the occasional heat issues when I am driving the processor really hard. Looking into a beefier cpu cooler(as big as will fit in the case, passive if possible) to resolve this. Open to suggestions.

The on-board graphics could be better, but there isn't any room in the case for a graphics card, and I primarily use it for work or browsing the web.(I'm not gaming on it) I used a picoPSU-160-XT from mini-box to give me the ability to run this bad boy from 12V in the future. (think off-grid, or in a car/camper/RV/etc) Eventually I want it to run on a small solar system that I plan to build, just adding to it's "green" nature.
