Description

This is my second client build that will be used for everyday productivity such as browsing, music and using Microsoft Office as well as running an Nintendo 64 Emulator.

Sorry for so few pictures but it was a rush build. I received the PSU last, on a Thursday, and wasn't able to build the PC til Friday.

The best parts about this build are the SSD and Case. The SSD was purchased from Craigslist WITH an existing copy of windows 8 for $100 and the Fractal Arc Midi R2 was purchased during black Friday for $40. I've had it lying around since then so decided to just use it for this and allow my friend to purchase it for what I paid.

He is very please with the build!

Thanks in advance for any comments and up votes, happy building!

I wonder why you didn't add a graphics card. Would come in handy for some HD Movies or a little gaming.

He asked me not to include one as he didn't want to spend anymore money

I cant see this running N64 emulators to well with just the onboard video.

Still a nice build though! +1

Have you ever tried it? I can run N64 emulators on an i3 350M without issues. Gamecube and PS2 are a completely different story.

Really? I wouldn't think it was too graphically demanding. I'll have to ask him to let me know how it goes when he tries. I know for sure that my old laptop with integrated graphics could run the pokemon emulator haha, could be different though!

Thanks for the comment!

never said i did, i simply said i cant see it running to well as last time i tried it on a dedicated graphics card it didnt run to well.

So perhaps they are better optimized now.

you had no more money left because you didnt need to add that much of a cpu. Everyday use could use an AMD APU. You didnt need to spend so much on an intel (too much fanboys) cpu

It has nothing to do with fanboyism. He currently had an older i5 on his mac and wanted a newer gen of it. He didn't want/need a GPU as the only thing he would run graphically demanding is the emulator.

You shouldn't jump to conclusions on your comments as it makes you look arrogant and will earn you down votes.
