"I have ascended, I have finally risen to the glorious PC Master Race". - Me just now

Obligatory comment about being my first build.

With that out of the way, I really do want to say that the entire process of this build has been awesome, I've been using the system coming up on a month now and it has far surpassed all my expectations. I am really pleased with this. Coming from the Xbox 360, I new that I wanted to get into a higher plane of gaming, and I think I have, I love gaming and I love computers, so this was really a dream come true for me. (I know my cable management looks terrible, I've since made it look prettier)

I've broken down my individual reviews below, and I'll try and format it as well as possible.

CPU - Intel Core i7-4790k 4.0 GHz Quad-Core This CPU is a beast, I got it over the i5-4690k because it was on a price drop and I had some room in the budget. I have no regrets, I haven't even OC'd yet and this thing handles my PC like a beast, load heavy applications area breeze and everything is lightening fast. No complaints on this, and a recommended component for any build.

CPU Cooler - CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM I went with this cooler because I knew I would need a decent quality cooler, and I didn't really like the bronze finish of a lot of the other coolers out there. This cpu cooler performs extremely well, keeping the cpu at the low 30s/high 20s when idle, and managing to stay under 6 degrees under load. I'll hopefully get some more specifics on that soon. This is an absolutely beautiful cooler, and comes with a free warranty too.

Motherboard - MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Awesome, I love the easy to use BIOS, and the accessibility of the board in my case, plenty of room for everything I need, and when I go to OC it should be a breeze. an awesome motherboard and nice to work with too. Love the look of it, especially in my case.

RAM - Kingston HyperX Fury White some beautiful memory, and they work very well. I have 12 GB and no complaints, looks awesome too.

Storage - Samsung 850 EVO-Series 120GB SSD I decided to get this later on in my compiling of parts because I heard about the great load times and such that I can get on it. I store all my permanent programs on here and loading is lightening fast. It is a great complement to my HDD and I would recommend an SSD from Samsung to any builder. Will definitely use again

Storage - WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD Western Digital is known for good HDDs, and this one is no exception, works well with my SDD, and has a metric ton of space that'll last me a long time. Enough said.

GPU - XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB DD A last minute switch meant I ended up with this bad boy, it performs awesomely, looks great, and stays cool. AMD is at an unfortunate disadvantage against Nvidia but this card still is amazing, got it at a great price with a Jet coupon. New games like Star Wars battlefront and Rainbow Six: Siege run at 100+ fps with graphics on ultra, BF4 too. I can't complain about this GPU, and for the deal I got, its a perfect part.

Case - NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower The amazing case I can't get enough of or praise highly enough. This thing is awesome, and is such a beautiful case. sleek and metal, everything about it is awesome down to the screws. Comes with two fans and dust filters, nice to work with. NZXT makes awesome products and I will definitely be buying with them again.

PSU - EVGA 850W P2 I know I know, my PSU has almost double the wattage I need, but with rebates and special offers, I couldn't refuse, modular, sleek, and powerful, this PSU will surely last a long time, the cables it comes with are awesome and well protected with nice sleeves and a carrying case. Definite plus to the build.

Peripherals Keyboard - An awesome keyboard for an awesome price, just like a pro keyboard and for a lot less cost and nice lighting, this keyboard ha served me well so far, I really enjoy using it. nice cord sleeving.

Mouse - Again, awesome product, great price. This mouse doesn't feel cheap or light, and is ergonomic with a nice cord.

Monitor - Holy Bologna, this monitor is absolutely stunning, seamless edges and amazing display quality, I couldn't be happier with this product and 'I will definitely be looking to Dell when I get another monitor.

Overall, this has been one amazing build, and I'm stoked to build again and be part of such a great community, thanks you guys, and thanks to all the redditors that made my life a lot easier, especially with getting a deal on parts, I saved a lot of money on this build than if I bought all of these parts full price!

Let me know what you think, if you have questions I'll be happy to answer them, and I'll try to get some more info/pictures up soon.

You need to turn that cooler 180 degrees so that the air is being pushed through the heatsink and then out the back of the case. Why don't you have the ssd on top of the PSU shroud? and 6 degrees C under load lol. other than that great build
