This looks really sick. How did you do this? This build does seem a bit out-dated though, but it's still incredible.

jakethemp 1 Build 1 point 63 months ago

I do love this... I would have went with a bigger mobo and only red LED's the blue throws off the red asus theme to me... but hey its not mine... other than that love what you've done...

Thanks. I have not planned it. Now, I know it was my mistake to take mATX instead ATX. I have to work on one GPU since 2 in SLI heat up each other :/ However, in the future water cooling will solve this problem out ;]

jakethemp 1 Build 1 point 63 months ago

how much space is between the gpu's when they are both in???

Lowe 2 points 63 months ago

i think he is only using one at the moment

dawlew submitter 1 Build 1 point 63 months ago

Around 0.5 cm.

jakethemp 1 Build 1 point 63 months ago

yeah I see what ya mean that's not nearly enough space to move decent air

dawlew submitter 1 Build 2 points 63 months ago

Unfortunately not. One of the GPU had almost 40 ºC with no stress and over 75 ºC under stress.

miniclipgamer 2 Builds 1 point 63 months ago

What in the hell is that case? Its really cool!

dawlew submitter 1 Build 1 point 63 months ago

MDF board + a bit glass glue, screws and holes. It is PC build in to the desk.

miniclipgamer 2 Builds 1 point 62 months ago

Thats frickin awesome!

Javanode 1 Build 1 point 63 months ago

That looks like... you modified an oven but that's cool!

Jimmy 1 point 63 months ago

Where did you get that case? I would like one lol. But can it fit a full ATX motherboard? It doesn't look like it.

dawlew submitter 1 Build 1 point 63 months ago

Case is home made. Actually, it is a desk with pc insaid. ATX can fit there just need ATX tray and obviously mobo.

Jimmy 1 point 63 months ago

Nice, I assume you had access to a laser cutter?

dawlew submitter 1 Build 2 points 63 months ago

Nope. I just had access to carpentry workshop. It is made of wood.

Xareh 4 Builds 1 point 63 months ago

amazing.exe has crashed from amazement. Please try again later.

Jared.ditto 1 point 57 months ago

don't see why you went with two sets of 2x modules for ram. Your motherboard is only dual channel and should only support two cards at a time unless I'm mistaken. If I am, I'd love to be educated.

Painwithin 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

dual channel does not mean you can only use 2 ram slots otherwise there would be no point in having 4 ram slots, most boards dual channel if you use all 4 slots.

Late reply but figured i'd answer it.

I got 4x 4gb and there running in dual channel ;) infact, im using the exact ram he is lol

and i love the custom desk!

JustAnotherGamer 1 point 47 months ago

approvadispia 1 point 42 months ago

epicdude91 1 point 24 months ago
