Description

Hi everyone! This is my first build (from the ground/case up). I have been daydreaming it up for the past year, and was finally able to bring it to life! I am very happy with the result. The H100i keeps the CPU super-cool and the GTX 760 allows for some good-looking game play. Please let me know what you guys think! I'm always open to learning from any mistakes I may have made in component selection, building, etc..Thank you. -J Clouse

Heya, congrats on the build! I would have personally gone with a GTX 770 at that price point, but good build nonetheless.

I know! I had so much going on decision-wise and made the purchase a bit quicker than I should have. But, the 760 is doing quite exceptional for my gaming on one monitor @ 1080p. Appreciate the feedback, thanks!

I probably would of got some blue ram sticks just for aesthetics but thats nit picky. off choice in gfx card unless your planning on running multiple monitor displays in the future. nice overall build tho and nice cable management, overall looks very clean. great job +1

Agreed. I pulled the trigger a bit too quick on the GPU. I should have went with the 2gb 770, but lesson learned and it will serve me well until at least next year. Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah, I feel your pain, we've all made impulse buys before :)

what are you using for lighting in there?

It's a cheap ($15) red led strip. I'll post the link. I don't really recommend it only because it plugs into an external usb port. I had to run it through one of my tubing grommets on the back of the case..for now until I cut that off and use a 3-pin power connector. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811999239

Did the RAM work fine with the mobo in the first place?

sorry for the late reply!..I just realized I listed the wrong RAM. I am using 8GB of Corsair Dominator (DDR3-1600mhz), not Vengeance. And it does work fine.
