Description

This is my main rig, gaming machine primarily. The case was a great but I'll agree with most of the small gripes about the HD racks and such being a pain and the grommets having some trouble. Sorry for the lack of description I didn't realize this had gotten publicly published :)

The purpose of this build was to take my old hardware out of the Centurion 5 Coolermaster case it was in and move it into something with a bit more decent airflow. I can flip on the no-k OC and run at around 4GHz at about 65 degrees C with the fans set to low. I also wanted to do this build to get have a case where I could have cables stashed away, the old case had no cable management what so ever and was a nightmare.

Give a description otherwise it's just confusing and making people miserable. :(

What's with the mix matched hard drives? In guessing you're not overclocking, due to the non k CPU. But then you shouldn't have gotten a z77 and so many fans

It's the mix & match ram that I worry about.

It's like he merged 2 PC's.

I actually had the wrong ram briefly in the build (simular product, wrong voltage). The reason for the mix and match on it was a deal from newegg yeilding me a free 8gb kit.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, because there's no description, but here's my guess:

HDD: Considering that it's mixed/matched, I'd guess that he had them just sitting around.

Mobo: Maybe he just wanted the features? Not too sure about this one

Fans: Maybe he wants to prevent his room from turning into an oven. Like the mobo, not too sure.

Mostly wanted to maximise airflow in case I OC the video card or turn on the turbo OC that the board can support. The case is so quiet I barely even notice.

The mix and match HD's is because I usually forward my old drives from old machines into my new ones, the main OS drive is the 500GB one.

Thanks, that was my main goal.
