Description

My gaming rig.

My loves: it looks beautiful runs super quick gaming looks awesome on a 27' 144hz 1ms monitor m.2 drives are also beautiful

My issues with it are: the DIYPC-RGB tempered glass case looks nice, however the case only has 5v connections for the RGB. As you all know the ASUS ROG STRIX motherboard has a 12v RGB header, making that feature useless. the case also had difficulties fitting my liquid cooler radiator in it. However, I got the sucker in. The psu has difficulties fitting in the case. There were very few places to mount screws into it. Although this could be partially the cases fault, I am going to replace both the psu and the case. AMD freesync seemed to have the refresh rate all over the board. I ended up turning it off and just going with the monitor settings. Seemed to run better but I am unsure.

My corrections: 1. Going to go with the NZXT H500i case. Thing looks beautiful.

  1. Changing the PSU to a fully modular system with color coated individually wrapped wires.

  2. Adding more fans that are compatible with the aura setup. RGB MUST SYNC!

  3. Might add another m.2 drive.

  4. Probably will go nvidia seeing as freesync wasn't all that it was hyped up to be.
