Description

-first pics are when the time I built it around, a month ago, i now have a different cpu cooler and some lights lol updates later-

Firstly, I bought the parts one by one starting early April since I cant buy it in one sitting. Its a hard long wait but Its worth it. Its mainly for photo editing, porno and gaming, got to kids that uses it for occasional youtube viewing as well.

I was swayed to go for AMD because of the price point. Im not a heavy gamer so I really need the higher end components. I can say that I stayed right in the middle. The 1k price listed isnt really that, since I pulled bunch of stuff from my older pc, like the SSD, monitor, RAM, HDD. It'll probably around 650ish. The GPU i got was so long it hits on the SSD holder. I bent it to make it fit, it looks sloppy lol but I really dont want to return the card since I got it for 170 and no **** was given that day.

The one regret I have is the case, I shoulda got the one with more cable management options. but overall Im happy. I didnt really wanted to go with the blue theme but it steered itself that way lol

I get 7.4 WME from 6.5 from my older pc. I play black ops 2 and get 120+ fps on ultra (i think) and Ultra on Metro 2033 and bf3 ,runs smooth both on 1080p.

If the prices are different, would you mind changing the prices manually? Makes it a lot easier to judge the quality of your build.

Awesome - at these prices it's a much better build. Any reason for 1333 RAM as opposed to 1600?

my previous rig doesnt support 1600. is it a big jump in performance getting that? my mobo support up to 2100 I think. thats a good idea of an upgrade next year.

Yes, faster RAM definitely helps and the jump from 1333 to 1600 is nice. Past 1866 you won't get the same "bang for the buck".

He is using a dedicated graphics card. No need for faster RAM because he already has some, and the benefits will be minimal, because it will only help in very, very select situations. The main reason to be using above 1600 is for integrated graphics, as the graphics use system memory instead of having its own dedicated RAM.

Anyone else notice the "porno" use in the description? Hahaha at least he has the balls to say it.

I think that's why he has another 250gb HDD...

Arrgh. Sorry, I guess by now you already bought your case, Im replacing it very soon. Larger Vcards doesnt fit this case very well. I have a 11.5" inch card and it didnt fit, I had to mod it a little bit. So far thats my only complaint.
